Our name, Hearts & Arrows Photography, comes from the superlative "Hearts and Arrows" cut for diamonds, which in turn, is named for the pattern of eight hearts when viewed from below and the corresponding pattern of eight arrowheads when viewed from above. Less than one percent of all diamonds manufactured each year possess the symmetry, proportion and polish to be considered a true "Hearts and Arrows" diamond.
A Hearts and Arrows diamond is a paramount of exquisite beauty and perfection; a gauge, against which the quality of all other diamonds are compared. At Hearts & Arrows Photography, we help realize the similar level of beauty and perfection that exists in each of our client's lives.
We look forward to helping you preserve your memories… forever!
Meet Your Photographers!
We are Wendy Weeks, Daniel Simonson and Will Parham and we bring to the table a combined professional experience of almost 40 years, as well as being card-carrying members of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP)! We each graduated with photography degrees from Randolph Community College, one of the nation's top photography schools, nestled in the heart of Asheboro, NC. Now a little bit more about each of us:
Hey there -- I'm Wendy. For my 17th birthday, my family all pitched in and bought me my first "real" camera, and my life has never been the same. Art and science have always been loves of mine and photography is the perfect mix of both. Since high school, photography and imaging have been my passion -- people are my favorite subject (well, my dog is up there, but she is people to me.)
In my opinion, there is nothing more rewarding than capturing the moments in life that people cherish for their entire lives. That's powerful stuff. I am so fortunate to find people that share my passion here at Hearts & Arrows Photography. I've known these guys since I was in middle school (more than half my life!) and we work together like a well-oiled machine.
My other passions include my husband, family, music and dancing. I am an original member of Troupe Bellysima, a local belly dancing troupe that encourages people of all sizes and all backgrounds to explore dance as a form of self-expression.

Hello! My name is Daniel Simonson. My name used to be 'Daniel Hilton' but I decided I wanted to take my wife's name when we got married (she said that I should keep my own first name, though, or else we would risk a lifetime of mixed-up mail.)
According to family that knew me before I knew me, I have loved art and the creative process since practically the day I was born but, personally, I can only vouch for the last 30 years or so. After a pretty terrible car accident which left my "drawing arm" little more than a limp bundle of flesh and bones, photography became a natural vehicle for my creative expression
In college, I took a class on Adobe Photoshop and had my first hands-on taste of digital imaging. The world of possibilities that this opened up to me was like discovering photography all over again! Although I continue to do everything in my power to get my shots right straight out of the camera, digital imaging and Photoshop, in particular, changed the way I see the world. I was hooked and I haven't looked back since!

Hey, I'm Will. I make photographs, that is what I do and I love what I do! In my late teenage years, I realized that I needed to find and capture the beauty of anything that was placed before me. Over the next few years, I traveled and explored the world around me, was employed at a string of one hour photo labs and spent time working for Uncle Sam. I realized that I needed to formally hone my skills in order to perfect my craft. I researched various photography programs and discovered that one of the top schools was practically around the corner from where I grew up back in North Carolina!
Not long after I graduated, I began instructing photo classes at the Sawtooth School for Visual Art, which, ironically, is the place where I took my own first photography class. I found that I enjoyed teaching the art of photography to others almost as much as I enjoyed producing my own work. I am now directing all of the Photography and Computer Graphics classes at The Enrichment Center. Photography touches practically every aspect of my life and, honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way!
